比特币和加密货币，是一个概念吗？
比特币是第一个、也是迄今为止受到最广泛认可的加密货币，在很大程度上，比特币已经被人们等同于虚拟货币和加密货币的代言者。但是，作为最著名的加密货币，人们对其的观点大不相同，如何看待比特币成为许多人刚接触加密货币时的第一个想法。这些观点可以被笼统地称为——1）认为比特币和加密货币不相同，只有比特币有存在的必要的“比特币极端主义者” 2）认为发行私人货币就是有错的“比特币否认者” 3）认为目前尚不能下定论的不可知论者。
1/ 比特币极端主义者
比特币极端主义者认为其他加密货币没有存在的必要，只有比特币终究能够成为与法币平起平坐的存在。对于他们而言，比特币是唯一的加密货币，因为它是“唯一”真正去中心化的加密货币，他们认为，其他的加密货币，大多数为“山寨币” — — 要么是失败的实验、要么是彻头彻尾的骗局。他们相信，比特币本身就满足了中立的所有条件。
2/比特币否认者
在市场上，有一部分人认为私人市场并不应该私自发行货币，法币的存在是为了确保政府从人民那里获得权力之后，能够代表人民维护公共利益，因此，应当有一个有足够智慧的政府、一个中心化的机构为这个最大的福利做出决策。虽然有失职的可能性存在，但是比特币并不能够维护社会大众的权利，而是为了维护社会大众个人的利益而存在，因此，并不认为比特币在未来是可行的。
3/不可知论者
不可知论（Agnosticism）是一种认为形而上学并没有存在意义的哲学观点，并不否认比特币的概念。但是，不可知论者认为，由于人们无法确认、无法知道这些关于比特币争执的对错和全貌，因此，认为比特币是否可信的问题到现在为止并没有答案，在更多证据显现之前，不会轻易做出判断。
但是比特币的极端主义者从根本上反对比特币否认者的立场，他们认为，比特币最终能够促进公平公正的经济的产生。他们认为，比特币的价格波动是有益的，“逢低买入”不仅能有益于既有的用户，也能够吸引更多新加入者，进一步地分配社会资源。同时，比特币极端主义者坚信国家资金的替代方案，但不可知论者本质上也无法与他们苟同。
