Creditcoin（CTC）是一个使用区块链技术记录非银行信用数据的DeFi信用系统的区块链项目。
为什么需要Creditcoin？
目前，信用服务受到评级机构如TransUnion、Experian和Equifax的约束，但是这些中心化的信用服务掌握着用户的个资，很容易成为黑客的攻击目标。况且，现有的信用评级都假设所有人使用的都是传统的银行和金融机构所提供的借贷服务，但是却没有想过——若是一个人并不使用这些服务呢？因此，社会上一部分人群就会不可避免地被排除在金融体系之外。而事实正是如此，全球有将近20亿人因此遭到金融体系“排除”。
为此，Creditcoin的平台以公开透明的方式，在其网络上存储信用记录。通过连接多个区块链建立加密货币借贷机制，允许筹款人和贷方直接相互连接。
该项目的主要目的是通过以透明和安全的方式，将非银行信用记录传输到区块链中存储。Creditcoin对自己的定位为：“通过简单的协议将区块链资产连接在一起，创建跨区块链借贷机制，并使其更接近加密生态系统中的稳固货币。”
Creditcoin首次发行日期为2020年2月4日，旨在通过区块链技术记录信用交易的方法，解决新兴市场无银行账户中缺乏信贷系统的问题。 投资者和筹款人可以在Creditcoin网络上进行报价，进行匹配并记录其贷款交易。此外，投资者可以通过Creditcoin将其债券转让给另一个用户。
为了进一步提高Creditcoin的功能，基于Substrate构建的Creditcoin 2.0已于6月23日上线。
