质押指什么？质押（Staking）作为当前加密货币的热门趋势，概念已经由来已久。所谓的“质押挖矿”，便是指将某种代币质押在某种项目中免费换取一种新的项目，原代币可以赎回，这种质押挖矿的方式与比特币、以太坊等基于工作量证明（PoW）“挖矿”的数字货币方式不同，并不需要购买挖矿机或者是算力，而是基于权益证明（PoS）和代理权益证明（DPoS）进行挖矿。通过质押，持有者只需要质押一定的数量的代币后，便可以产生新的货币。
但是，由于PoS机制中被质押的代币长期被存放在托管账户中，因此在被质押的代币数量增长的情况下，能够在DeFi中使用的代币数量便会减少。因此，为了平衡挖矿成本与流动性，人们将“质押”与“流动性挖矿”（通过向流动性资金池添加加密货币资产换取代币和手续费）的概念合并，产生了“流动性质押”（Liquid Staking），在允许投资者质押资产进行挖矿的同时，也允许质押资产的持有人以衍生代币的形式获得流动性。
目前，公链流动性质押方案包括以太坊的stETH、Solana的mSOL、Polkadot的LDOT和Avalanche的sAVAX等。
流动性质押为所有矿工带来了不同的好处，最显而易见的，便是提高资本效率，降低挖矿成本，能够通过锁定在托管账户中的代币作为抵押品而扩大收益机会。况且，由于流动性的质押代币基本上都是衍生品合约，因此理论上能够促使跨链交互，增加市场上的流动性。但是，流动性质押仍有其风险，现阶段，由于流动性质押代币实现了立即赎回的机制，因此这意味着协议必须有一定数量的闲置代币以满足用户的提款需求，在市场动荡的情况下，用户可能会大量赎回而导致质押协议陷入流动性困境。
